NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in children and Young people's Workforce 

A full time, one year vocational development course, aimed at individuals who want to work with children from birth to five years of age, whilst providing additional knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years of age.

This course will prepare individuals to progress towards a Diploma in Childcare and Education at Level 3 "a recognised Practitioner, Early Years Educator".

The course is an ideal route for anyone interested in a career in Childcare, you must be 16 or above and meet the strict eligibility criteria to access funding, unless you are self funding.

You must have achieved a Childcare/Early Years nationally recognised qualification at Level 2, and have access to "Real Working Environment" throughout the duration of the course.

You will be required to hold or apply for an enhanced DBS clearance.

The course length is taken over 40 weeks where you will cover 540 classroom hours as well as the working environment hours.

Students are required to achieve an attendance record of 85% or above over the duration of the course.
